Looking For Snow In All the Wrong Places

Hello dear friends. Being a snow dog (regardless of my small stature), I look forward every year to winter and the beautiful falling snow. Living in the mountains, we are guaranteed dozens of snow events that keep my heart howling a happy tune. This year, however, has been very different. I have been looking for snow but there has been none in sight!

My mommy has often told me your imagination can do marvelous things, and it can take you places you can only dream of. So I decided to give it a try and imagine there was snow. I even tried pretending I was catching snowflakes on my tongue.

I gave it my best effort, but it wasn't the same. The only thing I accomplished was drying out my tongue and getting my lip stuck on my teeth.

I had pretty much given up on any hope of snow this year, when Saturday morning....it happened! The snowflakes started to fall, and I was once again a real life snow dog! I was so excited, I shouted for joy (right in my mommy's face). I didn't want her to miss the moment.

At one point, when I was sure no one was looking (and believe me, I checked!)......

I even ate the snow! Yum! Yum!

It was a glorious day of fun, and I don't think I ever enjoyed a snow day as much as I did this one. I felt like it was God's answer to one little dog's humble prayer.
